Senior Web Analyst

Description:The Senior Web Analyst role is responsible for supporting the web channel of the business by analyzing web traffic using clickstream tools such as Coremetrics and Google Analytics. Uses data analysis findings to recommend fundamental improvements to the site experience.
Duties:� Lead driving core insights from the data to suggest, create and execute multivariate or a/b/c tests that drive fundamental improvements to the site experience.
� Exhibit a high level of expertise in driving the data strategy across multiple �listening posts� (websites, surveys, testing, CRM systems, market research etc).
� Execute cross channel data analysis to determine cause and effect in a multi-channel environment.
� Lead development of senior management dashboards.
� Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to senior management team.
� Collaborate with external partners to assist with data capture and accuracy.
� Composes reports with data from (excel, BI tools, web analytics).
� Website behavior and customer experience analysis.
� Data consolidation and validation.
� Coordinating tags and tracking parameter implementations.
� Business requirements synthesized from multiple sources including merchandisers, development teams, and functional group members.
� Evaluate existing processes and makes recommendations to improve those processes.
� Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:� Bachelor�s degree in Marketing or business related field required; MBA preferred.
� A minimum of three years of working with standard clickstream analysis tools: CoreMetrics, Omniture, ClickTracks, Hitwise, WebTrends, Google Analytics, etc.
� A minimum of two years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
� A minimum of three years of experience in one or more roles in an online ecommerce or online support environments.
� Three to five years of business analysis experience in large size companies with multiple functions / business units preferred.
� Business process redesign principles required; exposure to project management skills, tools and techniques preferred.
� Exhibits high degree of pro-activeness in analyzing customer behavior using available data to influence changes on the website.
� Understands the complex web ecosystems and best practices and applies this knowledge to their work.
� Requires the ability to multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure.
� Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, are required with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
� Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.
� Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
