| Duties: | � Responsibility for the achievement of sales, gross margin, market share, and inventory turn goals.
� Develops marketing plans for all business channels. Drives all marketing messages across the business enterprise.
� Foster a collaborative business partnership with MAT team members to develop and execute merchandising concepts, key items, promotional strategies, and assortments that are brand right and aligned with the Systemax consumer.
� Acute awareness of market trends across all active business channels. Able to translate tend forecasting and product point-of-view into profitable growth and measurable results.
� Works with vendor community to negotiate and develop multi-channel promotional opportunities. Recommends and negotiated promotional pricing, special buys, sales items and event purchases.
� Participates in negotiating and securing all vendor/marketing funding. (co-op/BER)
� Assists in the resolution of vendor payment discrepancies to resolution.
� Participates in the development of sales, margin, and inventory turn targets with the support of the merchandise planner.
� Identifies, and monitors the category vendor structure, and ensures that each merchandise category is competitively priced to meet corporate objectives.
� Negotiates the best possible price for each SKU within the merchandise assortment. Utilizes the support of the Allocator to support pricing optimization.
� Supports retail store assortments through the development and management of a cohesive merchandise mix designed and maintained assigned plan-o-grams.
� Utilize Web Analytics and Metrics to build and execute Ecommerce strategy
� Build customer experience around selling solutions, technology and content across all business channels
� Work closely with Integrated Promotional Planning team to ensure strategy is communicated and executed
� Develop new business opportunities within assigned areas of responsibilities
� Gatekeeper of the merchandise assortment strategy.

| Qualifications: | � A Minimum of 7+ Years of Experience as a Merchant/Buyer/Product Manager
� Self-starter, multi-task abilities and the ability to lead in a team environment
� Web Reseller, Distribution Channel, IT Commodity Buying experience
� Sales or marketing experience specifically with Vendor solutions
� Understanding of Web Analytics and Metrics
� Strong Negotiation skills
� Have the ability to develop Merchandising strategies
� Inventory Management experience
� Advanced PC skills of Microsoft Office are required (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
� Strong Communication skills (Fluency in Mandarin Chinese a plus)
� Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, work independently and on tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
� Must be able to work well in teams
� Technical aptitude a plus
� Management experience a plus
� Bachelor�s Degree or equivalent work experience
� Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
